NOTE: Lowering the motorcycle will reduce ground and
cornering clearance. ENGINE
NOTE: When installing replacement shocks on 79-85 XL models, it may be
necessary to modify or space the chain guard/ belt guard to allow
proper shock clearance.
NOTE: All Drag Specialties shocks are TÜV approved. TRANSMISSION
NOTE: Heavy Duty Applications are recommended for bikes that are & DRIVELINE
operated at or near the manufacturer’s maximum load rating over
50% of the time.
NOTE: Before purchasing or attempting to install shocks that are different 1310-0636
than the OEM length, confirm that your wheel travel can be altered GASKETS
without causing clearance issues such as swingarm/ axle to exhaust & SEALS
contact as well as chain/ belt guard or tire contact.
